A.L.P.S.® Clavicle Plating System

Tailored Fit. Intuitive Instrumentation. Systematic Efficiency.

The A.L.P.S. Clavicle Plating System offers a low-profile design that allows for in situ contouring and shortening to provide a tailored fit for the highly variable needs of the clavicle anatomy. These design features are important for minimizing discomfort, soft tissue irritation and cosmetic appearance in the clavicle where there is limited soft tissue coverage. This modern, comprehensive plating solution provides systematic efficiency due to flexibility of plate design and intuitive instrumentation

The A.L.P.S. Clavicle Plating System is designed to allow for in situ contouring and length adjustment due to F.A.S.T. Tabs® Technology and distal superior nodes. Plates can be bent, contoured and in some places broken to adjust length providing numerous anatomical variations with these 18 plates. This design offers intraoperative flexibility allowing surgeons to tailor plate fit for optimal implant stability. This comprehensive solution provides surgeons with a system that enables

  • Three-point fixation for implant stability
  • Non-locking, locking and multi-directional screw options to capture comminuted fragments
  • Low-profile plates with tapered ends available in standard (3.5 mm) and narrow (2.7 mm) options are designed to minimize discomfort, soft tissue irritation and reduce visual prominence in the clavicle where there is limited soft tissue coverage.

The system provides precise, user-friendly instrumentation and a simple surgical technique to help streamline workflow. Specialty safety features are built into the instrument’s design to minimize damage to adjacent soft tissue structures such as the subclavian vessels, nerves and lungs.

  • Instruments provide precise measurements using the safety drill stop and clavicle depth gauge which allow the surgeon to make appropriate screw selection
  • Short drill limits the maximum drill depth to help surgeons minimize potential damage to surrounding soft tissue structures
  • Protection of the neuromuscular structures during drilling may also be facilitated by using the Crego Elevator beneath the clavicle as a drill protector

The A.L.P.S. Clavicle Plating System provides systematic efficiency due to the flexibility of the plate design and intuitive instrumentation. Each aspect of the system is designed to streamline workflow to provide OR efficiency.

  • 18 plates designed to cover fracture patterns and length options similar to those of other clavicle plating systems offering 30+ implants1-3
  • Plates can be bent, contoured and in some places broken to adjust length providing numerous anatomical variations with these 18 plates. F.A.S.T. Tabs® Technology, waist section and dog bone relief nodes facilitate bending for surgeons
  • The implants and instruments required to perform a procedure are provided in one case for easy handling, storage and transportation, eliminating the need for multiple implants and instrument trays.
  • Streamlining workflow with one drill, one driver following plate selection simplifies the procedure for the surgical team
  • Temporary stabilization of the fracture through medial and lateral K-wire holes allow the surgeon to efficiently transition to permanent fixation during the procedure
